The Guild is a collection of small businesses and artisans located in Southeastern Ontario. Over the course of a 'normal' year, art shows and markets provide small businesses with the opportunity to showcase their work, increase their visibility, and earn an income. The pandemic shut down hundreds of Ontario shows and created a type of artistic vacuum.

I was one of those businesses.

Having been a part of the incredible community of artisans in the Thousand Islands, I felt that rather than pivot alone we could make something truly special together.

With family and friends spread across Canada, I have sent my fair share of gift boxes and baskets. Each time, however, has felt as though I'm settling - there's always more food than substance (which is saying something coming from a proud 'foodie'). I was looking for gifts that could be personalized, that supported the local economy, and that gave real value for the price.
